These terms apply to the Volans beta. By creating an account you agree to them and to the privacy policy.

You keep the official record

Volans is a tool to help you keep your logbook. It is not an official record, and it doesn't replace the records your licensing authority or airline requires. You are responsible for checking that your flights, times, totals and currency are correct before you rely on them, including anything imported from a roster or another app or suggested by AI. Currency and duty information is a guide, not a legal or regulatory determination.

The beta

The beta is free. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We'll tell you before any paid plan starts. Keep your own exports (Exports or Settings → Data) as a backup.

Your account and content

• Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Your logbook data belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Volans.
• Only upload rosters and files you're allowed to share, and don't misuse or try to break the service.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Data. We may suspend an account that misuses the service.

Liability

Volans is provided as is during the beta, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by relying on the app instead of checking your records.
